Third edition of International Wood Fair DREWOOD 2008 is an event concerning representants of wood industry.

DREWOOD 2008 Fair will take place on 7-9 march 2008 in Wroclaw in Hala Stulecia (Ludowa), simultaneously with Building Fair TARBUD.

This event is dedicated to every company, which has got in offer everything connected with wood industry.

The community of interests with building branch representants, especially with those which offer wood products for customers, is obvious.   

During last edition total amount of companies which participated, was 300, include wood branch: 100 companies.

DREWOOD 2007 is dominated by companies which produce machines, devices and tools for wood processing (25% exhibitors) and sawmill representants (around 10%), manufacturers of building wood and wood architecture elements (15%). 

There wasn`t also lack of companies, which in the offer have final product: furniture, stairs or parquet.

Conversations with potential exhibitors are pointing at clear tendention to keep this division in time of next edition.

Last Fair was visited by near 20 thousands people, which compared to last year is the result of growing frequency – 25% more.  

The amount of companies which participate in event grew up (40% more). 

Rising tendention is the result of a “boom” observed in last period in building and wood branch. 

Lower Silesia is glorious example of this fact. This territory is a market with high developmental potential for wood industry.

This is taking place in growing participation of investitions and building undertakings in this part of Poland. 

Localization of Wroclaw on route East – West of Europe and active political of region have a reflection in co-operation on international arena.

Unquestionable advantage of DREWOOD Fair is interesting programm of accompanying events.

Seminar “Polish industry of wood machine tools” (organizator: Association DROMA), Symposium “How to come into being on Ukrainian market” (organizator: Polish-Ukrainian Economic Chamber) and Regional Building Carpentry Forum (organizator: Association of Polish Windows and Door) - took a place during last year.

Promoting campaign on territory of Wroclaw and in many magazines and branch portals has influence on DREWOOD reputation and popularity.

Everybody, who follows important events in wood industry, surely more than once encount advertisement of fair. The most important branch media are ours patrons.
