The LATO Fair is one of Poland’s most popular fair events aimed at consumers buying tourism products.

The LATO Fair is recognised as the largest pre-vacation fair for tourism offers, open to everyone who wants to find out about travel and arrange their dream holiday at the fair.

For exhibitors, it is an excellent opportunity for meetings and discussions with customers. They are a tried and tested means of promotion and sales, and also an opportunity to learn about the customer’s expectations and preferences in the coming season.

Over 35,000 people visit the LATO Fair looking for holiday ideas, such as:

- domestic and international holidays, excursions and camps
- training, motivational and integration
- vacations holidays in tourist accommodation and spas
- weekend breaks
- tourism offers by countries, regions, districts and cities
- holiday transport
- insurance policies
- guides, maps and other tourist publications

Each year those taking part in the Fair present their products, which always prove popular. They include popular European countries and exotic regions of Africa, America, Australia and Asia. There is no shortage of customers for domestic destinations at the fair, either – for both regular vacations and weekend excursions Polish regional and city stands – including those presenting local points of interest, tourist attractions, lodging and organised holidays – gather plenty of attention at each fair. Many customers wanting to arrange their holiday themselves come to learn about holiday centres, hotels, boarding houses and argotourism offers.

Active holidays are becoming more and more popular with visitors – trekking, climbing, boating, diving, endurance and kayak excursions, as well as cycling trips. Many parents and teachers visit the LATO Fair looking for holidays suitable for children and teenagers: summer recreation camps, holidays involving learning a foreign language, as well as open-air lessons in the countryside and classes held in summer and winter resorts. In other words, visitors have various interests and there will be takers for every type of holiday product.
