The event will take place in the Expo Hall in Lodz between 2 – 4 March 2007.

Lodz International Fair, as the member of the Polish Trade Fair Corporation, organise the fairs and economic exhibitions of domestic and international standing for almost twenty years. The aim of Lodz International Fair activity is to promote countries, regions and cities by presentation of the welfare and the development possibilities of their economy main branches. Through years we have been taking part in the promotion of Polish and foreign tourist market, organising International Touristic Sites Fair WHERE CULTURES MEET.

Lodz is the unique example of the city which origin and economic success result from the creative co-operation of German, Polish, Jewish and Russian nationalities. The history and the past influence the contemporary image of the city; Lodz inhabitants are open to the contacts with other nations. Due to specific past Lodz is the best place to spread the positive examples which are results of idea of tolerance, co-existence and co-operation of the regions, nations and people. It is also one of the biggest city in Poland with more than 900 thousand inhabitants who create the important group of potential recipients of the services in offer.

Tourism is one of the most popular forms of getting to know the world and people, and the dynamically developing tourism industry creates the possibilities to broaden knowledge on the history, culture and today’s life. In this context WHERE CULTURES MEET FAIR is the perfect forum to present touristic offers prepared by the tour-operators, travel agencies, agrotouristc farms and boarding houses.

WHERE CULTURES MEET FAIR aims to promote different and often unknown touristic regions, cities and countries as well as the idea of meeting their inhabitants.
